The Move to WordPress is Complete

Good news abounds – is now officially hosted on Arvixe and runs on WordPress. Already you can see how much better it looks. I’m still tinkering with all the functionality of everything, but rest assured that things will continue to look better and better the more time I spend on it. I can finally set things up the way I want them to be.

In other news, the world may in fact be ending. Sorry to burst your bubble, but it’s true. There are several developments in my life that act as proof.

droid 2 global sucks1. I have a new phone. It’s in my possession. I just haven’t activated it yet. I received it yesterday, but didn’t get home until 10:30, and I was already super tired. Therefore in about an hour I will begin setting that up. For those of you that don’t know, I am currently using a Droid 2 Global. That used to be a good phone, back in 2011. Highlights include 3G technology and a slide-out keyboard. I am now upgrading to a Samsung Galaxy S4… highlights include everything that was developed after 2011. I couldn’t upgrade to a S5 because I had to buy the phone on my own because I have grandfathered unlimited data which means I cannot buy an upgrade through Verizon and I didn’t want to spend $500 on a new phone. Run-on sentence, don’t care. Having a workable phone is so important to me because I use it as my home internet connection. Which conveniently leads me to my next point…

xfinity_comcast_logo2. I might be getting home internet. Stop everything. The world is definitely ending. In just a short period of about 84 days (the countdown started from an unspecified point about two weeks ago), I will either have internet or they will begin putting in all the wires that will give me internet eventually. No one is really sure what is happening. The only thing we know is that Comcast offered to come and set up the wires to our house for a measly cost of $9,000 out of their own pocket. Am I thrilled that it’s Comcast? Not really, but we have no other choice. This would make my life incredibly more fulfilling. Or I could just move out of my parents house into real society where they have internet.

Either way, that is my life at the moment. Plan for the next few weeks: continue sorting out organizational/behind-the-scenes blog business, and then get back to produce super-quality content. Maybe.
