Statement of Declaration of Intent to Produce More Stuff

I’ve come to the realization that I need to write more content on this blog. That’s hugely obviously I know. Duh. But what I mean by that is less structured, article-type stories and more free-flowing thoughts of Kristy. I love writing articles; I am a reporter (or at least I was until I got laid off… perhaps an investigative story in the making?). However, a blog is not a news source, and for all intensive purposes is never taken seriously by anyone (except maybe high school kids who need to cite something for their essays). This is not where I will earn my journalistic integrity; I will have to fight for that in the dredges of real life. Instead, this can be a place where I entertain, rant, and even enlighten. It can be whatever I want it to be, and that’s really all a blog is meant to be.
